Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel Cream

This is a product I never would have thought to try, but I got a sample of it out of a magazine. I had the sample for awhile before trying it out, but after I did I knew I had to buy the full size. This stuff is amazing!
When I first tried it out I was afraid it would be greasy looking and break me out. I was so wrong. It leaves your skin feeling nice and smooth.
There is a cleanser and a moisturizer that I plan on getting very soon. This is a very light weight product, and it doesn't take much to cover your entire face so this stuff will last quite a while.

Final thought: This is a great buy and very inexpensive. A little bit really does go a long way. I would  definitely recommend this product.

Hard Candy - Face Facts Set

This is the Hard Candy Face Facts Set. This set was out for Christmas, and I purchased it after Christmas when it was on sale. The original price was $5 I paid $2.50.
After trying it out I realized...even though I only spent $2.50 on it I spent TOO MUCH. This product is horrible! The eye shadows are seriously lacking in pigmentation and seem kind of chalky and powdery. The bronzer and blush are terrible. The colors didn't work for me at all. Then there's the little brush it comes with to apply the blush and bronzer. I hate when companies give you a little dinky brush that just doesn't work. I'd rather they just not give one at all. The best thing about this set is the eye shadow primer.

I love this primer! This is the only part of the set that I will be keeping. I used this the day after I got it and I loved it! I've used the face primer from Hard Candy and that product is amazing so it's no surprise that this one is good as well. Hard Candy has nailed it as far as primers go. This is something I will use until I run out and will absolutely purchase on it's own!

Final thought: This is just a waste of money. If you find the primer on it's own buy it. Everything else is just no good. This set will be meeting my trash can very soon.

Too Faced - Pixie Pin-Ups

Now I know I'm probably a little bit late to talk about this since you really can't get it anymore. I got mine 2 weeks ago at Sephora when it was on sale for $25. I got the last one. So even though this might be late I still want to give my thoughts on it.

I LOVE this set! I think everything about it is great!
So this palette comes with 6 eye shadows, a mini size shadow insurance, mini lash injection mascara, and a mini lava glass eye liner.
I love all the colors they are gorgeous!
Shadow Insurance is GREAT! I've never used a "high end" eye primer, but this one very well may become my go to.
Lash Injection mascara...WOW! This stuff did wonders for my dull eye lashes. Love it.
Finally Lava Glass eye liner. Oh my God! This is the best eye liner! It glides on so smoothly, and stays put all day.

Now this set also has the pop up fairies but I couldn't get it to stay opened so I could show it.

Final thoughts: This palette is great! If you are lucky enough to find (Sephora might still have it in store) I highly suggest you grab it! Everything about it is wonderful and I plan on purchasing everything that came with it in full size.

First Post - Welcome!

I want to use this first post to tell you about myself. So let's start off with basics. My name is Heather , and I live in a very..very small town with my boyfriend and our 3 cats. I work as an assistant teacher at a daycare. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and family. I love being out doors when the weather is nice. Parks and lakes are a love of mine! I have a passion for photography that has sort of been lacking lately. I need to work on that, because I really do love it so much!

Now onto the makeup! I love it, use it every day. I'm not one of those girls who has to have makeup on in order to leave the house. I'm perfectly fine with running to the grocery store with little to no makeup on. I love drugstore makeup. In my opinion you don't need to spend a lot of money to get great products. I have, however, started getting more into the "higher end" makeup. I don't have much, but there are lots of products I would love to get someday soon. We will see though.

So what you can you expect from this blog? Basically I wanted to make this blog to give you my opinion on products. Opinions from a normal girl. I want to let you know what I think is a good buy and what I think you should stay far away from. I am looking forward to see what (if any) reaction I get from this blog. So I hope whoever finds this blog will enjoy it and follow me!
